Autumn Descent

With all the strangeness of these virus times we have been living in this summer i’ve put a lot of thought and emphasis into one of my favorite picture projects that i’ve worked on over the past few years, the waterfalls of New England. It’s something I never get tired of doing and in a time when everything about crowds is different than before, these hidden gems are what I think of as my favorite hiding spots within the land. Fall is right around the corner as I type this and I will always remember this rainy autumn morning within the leaf blanketed forests of Stowe when I made this picture.

Sliding in Stowe

I’ve visited a whole bunch of New England’s waterfalls over the past few years for project work, and Stowe is without a doubt one of my favorite regions for exploring. While Moss Glen certainly changes with the seasons there is hardly a bad time for a visit and it was roaring nicely on this summer morning after a healthy dose of rain the night before.
