Waves have a wonderful quality about them in that they are all fleeting moments. No one is exactly the same as another, and they arrive and vanish before our eyes with a magic and resonance that is a thing of beauty.
While there is a hardly a bad spot on this earth to watch the waves, I would have to say one of my favorites is from along the sandy shores of Nantucket. This one was a cold evening on the island with storms and big surf on the way but a hint of color out there on the endless horizon as well making for a classic scene along the landscape at Miacomet.
