Light of Day

Working within the landscape of Vermont this summer has surely been one of my highlights of the past few months. As much as people feel magnetized by the autumn colors, I have say that personally I feel the full of life feeling that the landscape has within the summer months is probably my favorite season. I did a lot of land and farm scenery during my travels, and there were several days that had morning light more magical than my own dreams of landscape imagery.

Morning Magic

Summer mornings in New England have a special quality of light to them especially with the warm days of summertime. I was out exploring a few days ago and came upon this scene of stark contrast between the rising sun and layers of cloud inversions within the valley’s of Vermont. The contrast between the darkness and light was striking and provided a summer scene filled with mood and attitude.
